Tokyo Skytree Town Summer BeerFesta 2026: Beer Garden & BBQ on the grass at the base of the tower
Summer Beer Garden right beneath Tokyo Skytree
If you’re looking for a place to eat, relax outdoors, and soak up the Tokyo summer atmosphere, Tokyo Skytree Town Summer BeerFesta 2026 is definitely worth checking out. This year’s theme is “Beer Garden on the grass at the base of the tower,” featuring beer garden and BBQ seating on the lawn at Sky Arena—right at the foot of Tokyo Skytree.
The great thing is that it’s not only for friends meeting up or office workers after work—it’s also perfect for families with young kids, thanks to a kids’ play area, relaxing seating, and plenty of heat-beating measures like mist, uchiwa fans, and a furin wind-chime gate.

What’s on at BeerFesta 2026?
The beer garden area features 5 booths in total: 4 themed food areas—Japan, Europe, USA, and Tropical—plus one chilled dessert booth. You’ll find beer-friendly favorites such as fish & chips, internationally styled fries, BBQ meat combo plates, diced beef steak, grilled items, and summer sweets like kakigori.
The drink menu is also packed with options, from Japanese and international beers to lemon sour and highballs. It’s the kind of event that’s perfect for dropping by in the early evening—when the heat eases and Tokyo Skytree starts to light up.
No prep needed for BBQ
If you’re in the mood for BBQ, the event offers BBQ & glamping plans starting from 3,980 yen per person. Depending on the plan, you can add all-you-can-eat for 600 yen and up, as well as unlimited drinks. Some plans require advance booking, while others are available on the day.
Standout BBQ dishes include the Meat Platter Combo BBQ, Black Wagyu beef steak, beef rib steak, handmade hamburgers, tropical-style spicy curry, and jerk chicken. After your meal, BBQ courses with coupons can help you buy shaved ice with discounts of up to 15%.
A space everyone in the family can enjoy
One of the highlights of BeerFesta this year is that the grassy lawn area is designed so both adults and kids can enjoy themselves. Children can play in the wooden slide area and the wood mountain, while adults can sit on outdoor chairs, sip beer, and unwind at the base of the tower.
The event also has a furin wind-chime gate, a mist-spraying system, uchiwa fans, and an eco-friendly trash collection area. These are small details, but they really help make Tokyo’s summer weather more comfortable.
Before you go—quick notes
It’s a good idea to book ahead if you plan to enjoy BBQ on weekends or in the evening.
The area is outdoors, so bring a hat, drinks, and sun protection if you’re going during the day.
Pets aren’t allowed in the dining area—even in a carrier. The exception is support dogs such as guide dogs or service dogs.
On 25/07/2026, if there’s a Sumida River Fireworks Festival, the event may run on a special schedule.
Contents, hours, and menus may change depending on the weather or operational circumstances.
